SCOTT W. VENTRELLA
A dynamic and popular lecturer, respected educator, business consultant, life coach, and published author, Scott W. Ventrella offers a practical message that is equal parts philosophy, psychology, and spirituality.
Ventrella is the founder of Positive Dynamics, a consulting and coaching company devoted to helping people tap their inherent potential, as well as Executive Vice President for SAI Global, an international consulting firm where clients include executives from many Fortune 500 companies.
Ventrella also works as an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business, where he has been teaching a full-credit course for over 10 years based on the concepts presented in his latest book,
“Me, Inc. - How to Master the Business of Being You” (Wiley, 2007). Hundreds of students have learned and applied the concepts with powerful and lasting results.
In addition, Ventrella offers seminars on The Business of Living. He has been a guest lecturer at a number of schools and universities including the Harvard Business School, Columbia, Dartmouth, and NYU. Recently, Ventrella authored The Power of Positive Thinking in Business (Simon & Schuster/Free Press, 2001), published in 24 countries. In that book, he identifies 10 key traits for success. Negativity is a regular challenge in business, but Ventrella introduces step-by-step techniques for re-activating long dormant positive traits that can be called upon to meet challenges faced by individuals, teams, or organizations. Combining sound psychology with business ethics, Ventrella describes remedies for universally encountered business problems.
Before Positive Dynamics and SAI Global, Ventrella held a Director position at Mercer Delta (formerly known as Delta Consulting Group). The global management consulting firm assists major corporations with the management of strategic organizational change. Ventrella’s work earned him high praise from business professionals at organizations including Pepsi, Fort James, and IBM. Prior to that, Ventrella was recruited to assist the president of Peale Center in restructuring following the death of its namesake and founder, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. There, Ventrella designed a strategy to address structural and cultural issues following a merger with Guideposts Inc. He developed new products and professional services for Fortune 500 markets, including a performance consultancy based on The Power of Positive Thinking (the foundation for his first book).
Scott resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut with his family. |
